Emma Cutrufello is the Career Community Advisor for Government, International Affairs, and Law. Emma moved to Boston after 12 years of living, working, and studying in Washington, DC, where she worked on the Hill for a summer internship with then-Senator Biden after earning her BA in Political Science-IR from the University of Delaware. She learned to network in the uniquely DC way, and she worked at three think tanks (CSIS, RAND, and CIDCM) and as a federal contractor. Her love of research and learning led her to pursue her doctorate in Government and Politics (IR field), which she earned from the University of Maryland. She then advised international students and taught at George Mason University. She finally discovered that she could combine her passion for her field with her love of helping students achieve their own goals as a career advisor! Emma is excited to share her experiences working and researching careers and graduate school, and she looks forward to continuing to build the Government, Law, and International Affairs Career Community at Wellesley.
