As an Advisor for Career Exploration (ACE), Marisa enjoys working with students through intentional reflection and exploration to determine next steps for each student’s personal and professional development. Marisa values relationship-building and believes in the importance (and fun!) of novel experiences and embracing the unknown. She is also the advisor for careers in international affairs and in public health, and enjoys supporting both students and alums in their professional journeys within these fields. Marisa holds a BA in Psychology from Wellesley, an MEd in Counseling & Student Affairs from Northern Arizona University, and an MPhil in Russian and East European Studies from Oxford University. She has worked in higher education since 2008, and currently also serves as a member of the Educational Advisory Board for Boston University School of Public Health, and copy editor of the DC-based Journal of Policy Analysis and Management.
