Susan Brennan

Associate Provost and Executive Director of Career Education

As Associate Provost and Executive Director, Susan is a key leader in setting the direction and driving increased innovation of career education at Wellesley. She inspires the stellar Career Education team to further strengthen Wellesley’s commitment to prepare and inspire every student to craft a lifetime of opportunity and realize their full potential. Building on a strong foundation, Susan focuses on expanding services that advance student’s academic and professional development, and continuing to mobilize Wellesley’s formidable alumnae network to facilitate undergraduate career exploration and alumnae career transitions.

Susan is a builder of strong team cultures and brings unique talents, a track record of success, and a passion for liberal arts education to this role.  A recognized thought leader and contributor to major media, she served most recently as the Assistant Dean of Career Development at the MIT Sloan School of Management and previously as Associate Vice President of Career Services at Bentley University. She graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Master of Education, Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University and an MBA from Babson Graduate School of Business.
