2020-21 Recruiting FAQs for Employers

Can I still recruit Wellesley students for internships or full-time employment?
Yes! Students are still excited to connect with employers. All recruiting throughout the 2020-21 academic year will take place virtually. There are 3 ways you can share your positions and connect with the Wellesley College community:

  1. Post positions on Handshake (under Post a Job): We encourage all organizations to review and update their current postings on Handshake. We continue to emphasize to the Wellesley community that they should utilize Handshake as a primary source for internship and employment opportunities.

  2. Schedule a bespoke Wellesley virtual event: Email recruiting@wellesley.edu to help manage.
Please Note: If your organization is planning to host any virtual events, please publish those events in Handshake and extend the programs and events to Wellesley College. By doing so, the event will be advertised on the Wellesley College Handshake calendar.
  3. Host virtual / phone interviews with students: You may schedule these directly with students or through Handshake (Under “Request an Interview”).

We are still planning for Fall 2020 recruitment and would like to speak to someone about opportunities to engage with the college. Who should I contact?
Whether you have worked with Wellesley College before or are looking for more information about recruiting opportunities, please contact recruiting@wellesley.edu.

Will you still host your Boutique Career Fairs in Fall 2020?
We are still planning to host virtual Career Fairs as Virtual Recruiting Weeks during the fall semester. These events are invite only and we will be reaching out to our employer partners throughout the summer. If you are interested in learning more, please inquire by emailing recruiting@wellesley.edu.
