Churchill Scholarship - campus deadline

The Churchill Scholarship provides funding to American students for a year of Master’s study in science, mathematics, and engineering at the University of Cambridge, based at Churchill College. The Scholarship was set up at the request of Sir Winston Churchill in order to fulfill his vision of US-UK scientific exchange with the goal of advancing science and technology on both sides of the Atlantic, helping to ensure our future prosperity and security. Brooke Owens Fellowship - direct application deadline

Eligible: anyone whose gender is underrepresented in aerospace (e.g. cisgender woman, a transgender woman, non-binary, agender, bigender, two-spirit, demigender, genderfluid, genderqueer, or another form of gender other than cisgender man) and who is currently pursuing a bachelors or associates degree as of October 2023, and will have at least one semester of study left after summer '24. Jerome A. Schiff Fellowship - direct application deadline

Eligible: Wellesley students enrolled in a 360 in the fall or intending to enroll in a 360 in spring.

A generous gift from the Jerome A. Schiff Charitable Trust allows Wellesley to support students pursuing independent research projects through the senior Honors thesis program.  The fellowships are awarded on the basis of merit, and the number of fellows each year is determined by available funding and the number of qualified applicants.  Please note applications are due at 5:00 pm EST.

Graduate School Preparation Mini-Grants - application deadline

Eligible: Currently enrolled Wellesley students, including those graduating in this academic year, (on-campus or studying abroad) are eligible for Fund grants. GPA is not a factor in the decision-making process. Preference will be given to those applicants who: 1) can be specific in terms of their graduate/professional school goals (for example: "applying to Master's degree programs in Museum Studies, ideally matriculating fall of 2024"), and 2) have financial need.

The Graduate/Professional School Preparation Fund, funded by a generous grant from the Wellesley Students’ Aid Society, is intended to help current Wellesley students with expenses related to graduate or professional school preparation.

Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC) Liu Xiaobo Fellowship - expected spring term direct application deadline

Eligible: U.S. citizens who are graduates of an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or J.D. program or current graduate-level students. Candidates should have completed at least some China-related coursework; it is also desirable that they have some background in one or more of the specific human rights and rule of law issues in the CECC legislative mandate. Chinese language skills: Fellows should be able to read Chinese well enough to assist with research in newspapers, journals, and government documents. More advanced Chinese language capability would be a plus. A successful candidate for a fellowship will often have lived or studied in mainland China, Hong Kong, or Taiwan.
