Wellesley's Samuel and Hilda Levitt Fellowship - campus application deadline

Students planning to enroll in a 360 course in the first semester of their senior year, who have the approval of their thesis advisor and department, are eligible to apply. Levitt Scholars are not eligible to apply for either a Daniels Fellowship or a Schiff Fellowship.

The Samuel and Hilda Levitt Fellowships are intended to support the thesis work of nine honors students, three each in the humanities, the social sciences and the sciences. Each fellowship consists of $3500 and is awarded in the spring of the recipient’s junior year, so that it can facilitate honors work, both during the summer preceding the senior year, if needed, and during the senior year. The fellowship is also intended to recognize students with a commitment to service.

Prilla Smith Brackett Award Art Prize - deadline

Applicants must identify as female, live in the Greater Boston area, and be at a career stage beyond the first five years of professional practice.

The biennial Prilla Smith Brackett Award honors an outstanding female-identifying visual artist based in the Greater Boston area. Funded by Prilla Smith Brackett (Wellesley Class of 1964) and administered by the Davis Museum at Wellesley College. The $15,000 cash award will be given to the artist whose work demonstrates extraordinary artistic vision, talent, and skill.

Brooke Owens Fellowship - expected direct application deadline

Eligible: anyone whose gender is underrepresented in aerospace (e.g. cisgender woman, a transgender woman, non-binary, agender, bigender, two-spirit, demigender, genderfluid, genderqueer, or another form of gender other than cisgender man) and who is currently pursuing a bachelors or associates degree as of October 2024, and will have at least one semester of study left after summer '24. International students with CPT are eligible!
