Lead for America Fellowship - direct application fall deadline

Eligible: U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or DACA recipients who will graduate in 2022 or have graduated in 2019 or later.

Lead for America selects, trains, and places our nation’s most promising young leaders in two-year paid fellowships in local governments as a means of strengthening America’s public institutions, supporting our local communities, and cultivating a new generation of transformational public service leaders.

The Coro Fellowship uses the city as a classroom to train the next generation of change makers, through a full-time, nine-month, graduate-level experiential program offered in Los Angeles, New York, Pittsburgh, San Francisco and St. Louis. New York City Urban Fellows Program - expected direct application deadline

Eligible: seniors and recent graduates (having received BA between spring 2020 and spring 2022) who can demonstrate their eligibility to work in the U.S. (see website for details).

The Urban Fellows Program is a highly selective, nine-month fellowship which combines work in Mayoral offices and City agencies with volunteer service opportunities and a seminar series that explores current urban issues impacting public policy. Immigrant Justice Corps Community Fellowships - expected direct application deadline

Eligible: applicants must be eligible for work authorization in the U.S. for the full two years of the fellowship (DACA recipients are welcome to apply to Immigrant Justice Corps, and comprise a significant percentage of the Fellows named each year). They must speak another language in addition to English (Spanish is in the highest demand, but Fellows who speak Mandarin, Haitian Creole, French, Arabic, Korean, and Urdu have been named). You may apply as a college senior or during the year after graduation (in spring 2022, members of the classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022 are eligible to apply).

Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship - direct application deadline for fall semester

Seniors and recent graduates who are U.S. citizens, or non-U.S. citizens living in the U.S. and eligible for employment (like seniors with OPT available). Candidates must have an excellent academic record and a strong interest in issues of peace and security.

The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship, established in 1987, is a highly-competitive national fellowship program that provides recent college and graduate school alumni with the opportunity to gain a Washington perspective on key issues of peace and security. Cleveland Foundation Public Service Fellowship - expected direct application deadline

The Cleveland Foundation, the world’s first community foundation, launched the Cleveland Foundation Public Service Fellowship program in spring 2016 to offer emerging young leaders from across the country the skills and networks needed to create the community they envision and jumpstart a career in public service. The program includes a 12-month, full-time paid placement at a selected public sector agency in Cleveland, providing meaningful career-related work experience.
