Classroom Lecture Funding
CLCE provides funds for honoraria for guest lecturers. Faculty members may have no more than 2 guest lectures per academic year, and the total cost of guest lecture(s) may not exceed $500. Please note honoraria will not be awarded to anyone currently on the Wellesley College payroll (i.e, staff or faculty). The request must be received before the scheduled lecture. The funds are awarded on a first come, first serve basis. The Classroom Lecture Funding Application can be found here.
Please be sure that the Supplier Registration Form (New Vendor Request), which is available on-line through the Controller's web site: Controller's Office (click on forms) is completed by the vendor. *A Supplier Registration Form is only needed for New Vendors. The only time you would submit a new form for a vendor that is already in our system is if the persons tax status has changed (name change, marital status).
Once your classroom lecture application has been approved you will receive an email from CLCE@wellesley.edu requesting you to "create a supplier invoice request" in Workday for the honoraria amount.
Supplier Registration Form (New Vendor Form):

Please note: if your guest is a non-U.S. citizen additional IRS forms are required. For non-U.S. citizens please send an email to Dorothy A. Koulalis in the controllers office email@example.com with the lecturer's full name (including middle name), email address, date of lecture and the amount. Dorothy will send the international form directly to the lecturer. Once this is completed they will need to complete the Supplier Registration Form.
Due to the limited amount of funds available, faculty members must submit classroom lecture fund applications in advance of lectures to be sure that there are still funds available. Applications will not be processed after the lectures occur.
*The Committee cannot approve funds for events that have already taken place.
