CWS Suit Program
The first impression you make on a potential employer is the most important one.
The first judgment an interviewer will make is based on your appearance and your attire so it is important to dress professionally for a job interview, regardless of the work environment. With this in mind, the CWS established a Suit Program that allows students to borrow suits not only for interviewing, but also conferences or meetings where professional attire is required.
What kinds of suits are available?
We have women’s suits available in sizes 2-22. All suits are black with jackets and skirts. No women’s pant suits are available. Men’s suits will be available in September 2013.
How do I know if my size is available?
Where do I pick up the suit?
Suits can be picked up in the CWS library (Green Hall 442). The CWS library is open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. during the academic year. Ask one of our student interns sitting at either the front or back desk to bring you the suit. Make sure to try on the suit before checking it out.
How do I sign out the suit?
After you try on the suit, if you decide you want to borrow it, the intern will ask you to fill out an online form.
How/when do I return the suit?
The suit must be returned within 7 business days, with a dry cleaning receipt and the CWS garment bag. Please bring it back to the CWS library.
What happens if I don’t return the suit on time?
The CWS has the right to restrict your MyCWS privileges for not returning a suit. This program depends on your cooperation for its success.
