Drop-In Public Tours

Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Designed and led by Wellesley students from a range of academic majors, a thematic tour of special exhibitions and permanent collections is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. These occur every Saturday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM during the academic semesters. Please meet your Student Guide in the Davis Lobby to precede as a group to the galleries.

Multisensory Stations

The 2024 summer internship cohort launched a new way for all ages to interact with the five senses and practice a sixth sense - embodiment - in our long-term galleries. This experience is available at home or in our free digital guide.

Tote bags and objects are available at the front desk in the lobby that will enhance an in person experience. Our student visitor assistants will help you use a booklet and signage to make a selection. In our galleries, new stations that are indicated with a horizontal red stripe have items to touch, smell, and explore.

This tour was developed by the 2024 Davis Museum Summer Interns: Sara Brown ’25, VV Chua ’25, Beatrice Geissinger Cutchins ’27, Lillian Goins ’26, Sophia Jones ’25, Karla Narvaez ’26, and Ava Wilcox ’25.
