Eleanor P. DeLorme Museum Summer Internship

Gain experience in the Davis Museum’s curatorial department. Under the supervision of one or more of the Museum’s curators, the DeLorme Intern will develop an independent curatorial project. The intern may also assist with publications, collections management, and exhibition development. This full-time, seven-week internship takes place during the summer, concurrent with the Summer Internship program.

 

This is a remote internship available to recent graduates from the Class of 2021. This program description reflects current plans as of December 2020. Due to the uncertainty created by the COVID-19 pandemic, Wellesley College reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel the Davis Museum Summer 2021 Internship Program or withdraw an offer at any time.

 

Due to federal tax regulations, only students located in the United States during the internship are eligible to participate. 

 

Dates and Compensation:

 

This full-time, seven-week summer internship takes place from June 14-July 30, 2021, Monday-Friday, from 9 am - 5 pm, and pays an hourly rate of  $15.00 per hour at 35 hours/week for 7 weeks, for a total of $3675 before taxes.

To apply, submit completed 2021 Davis Museum DeLorme Internship Application, including statements and writing sample, along with resume and transcript, by February 8, 2021 via Handshake. Possible candidates will be contacted for interviews in February, with decisions being made in March. This year’s internship will take place remotely from June 14-July 30, 2021.
