This three-part series features representative wuxia films by King Hu, Ang Lee, and Zhang Yimou, highlighting their distinctive approaches to one of the most popular genres of Chinese cinema. The screenings are required for CHIN 239: Popular Culture and Modern China and open to all Wellesley College students, faculty, and staff.
Moderate publicity efforts will be made across campus.
