Ann Goldstein: On Translating Elena Ferrante and Primo Levi
Ann Goldstein will give a lecture on her translations of Elena Ferrante’s Neapolitan Novels and Primo Levi’s Complete Works — a three-volume publication that she edited, and in part also translated, and was published in 2015. The lecture will be followed by a roundtable on translation led by Larry Rosenwald, Anne Pierce Rogers Professor of American Literature and professor of English at Wellesley.
