Opera, Bare and Up Close: Getting Intimate with Opera
Bare Opera’s immersive and dynamic performance will feature operatic hits and rare gems by Mozart, Ravel, Rossini, Donizetti, and Puccini. Through site-responsive staging within unique performance spaces, the singers react spontaneously to the audience and environment, making for a truly immersive and visceral experience of opera and the operatic voice. Featured performers include Liana Guberman, soprano; Kirsten Scott ’11, mezzo-soprano; SungWook Kim, tenor; Suchan Kim, baritone; and Laetitia Ruccolo, piano.
