Shruti Laya

Shruti Laya is WASAC's annual celebration of South Asian culture and creativity across the diaspora. It serves as more than just a performance showcase, but an opportunity for students to share traditions, stories, and experiences that shape their identities. Through dance, music, spoken word, and other forms of artistic expression, Shruti Laya highlights the diversity of South Asian cultures across campus and the greater Boston area. Each year, the event joins together performers and audience in a celebration that reflects both the vibrancy of South Asian cultures and the spirit underlying WASAC as a student organization. Shruti Laya is an event to foster community, culture, and connection, creating a space where students can celebrate their heritage and share it with others.
