Wellesley College provides informational assistance to spouses and partners of candidates who seek other employment opportunities within the greater Boston area through the New England Higher Education Consortium (HERC).
Developed in 2006, the New England HERC is a collaborative response of member institutions to the many challenges of academic recruitment and retention. One particular interest of the New England HERC is finding effective ways to assist the spouses and partners of faculty and staff to secure area employment.
