Winter Break & Wintersession

Wintersession Information

Winter Break Dates:  December 21st - January 27th

Wintersession Dates:  January 3rd - January 24th

All students seeking Wintersession housing need to submit the Wintersession 2019 Housing Registration Google Form in order to receive a housing assignment. The deadline for submission is Monday, December 3 at 9:00 am.

Wintersession 2019 Housing Eligibility Policy

Wintersession Housing is limited and restricted to international students, students deemed essential on-campus employees, students with academic obligations, and those participating in specific College-sponsored programs. Students requesting Wintersession Housing will need to specify their approved need for housing in their registration form.

Eligible students will be approved to return to campus for Wintersession 2019 and be assigned temporary housing in one of four designated Wintersession residence halls (Bates, McAfee, Freeman, and Stone Davis).

All students will be housed in Bates, McAfee, and Freeman, or Stone Davis. Students who have been approved to return will be added to the Wintersession Housing Google Group. All other residence halls will be closed on December 21, 2018 at 12pm and reopen on January 26, 2019 at 9am.

Please do not request a specific room. If you are a resident of Bates/Freeman/McAfee/Stone-Davis, you will be assigned to your own room automatically unless you request otherwise. BAT/FRE/MCA/STO-DAV residents will have an opportunity to request a student of their choice to reside in their room. The regular resident of a space must request to host you in their room. The residents of these residence halls have already received a request form, and can submit these requests any time prior to December 1st.

There will be no charge for Wintersession Housing. If you have any questions, please contact
