Chief Operating Officer
Ray Oquendo joined Wellesley College in May 2010 and serves as Chief Operating Officer. He also serves as chair of the retirement plans investment committee. Before joining Wellesley, Ray was director, investment operations at New York University's investment office. Ray had previously been director, investment operations at Alcatel-Lucent Investment Management Corporation and assistant vice president and controller at Skandia Asset Management. His other role includes senior investment accountant at Carnegie Corporation of New York.
Ray received a bachelor of science in accountancy from Long Island University. He earned his M.B.A. in finance and information systems from Pace University.
