In Lesley Curtis’ course, an introduction to the study of world literature, the Blended Learning Initiative supported the integration of several technological tools. Students in the course worked with social media throughout the semester. They also used Wordpress to created an online magazine, titled Lit Well, and published it three times during the semester. The magazine showcased students’ tweets, essays, and artistic projects related to class discussions. It also included essays written by professionals who the class invited to be guest authors on the site.
