Lynne Fors
Cataloging & Metadata Librarian

As the Cataloging and Metadata Librarian, I create records in the library catalog on materials acquired through various methods via my library colleagues. My work is centered around creating access points to books, media, and special collections to support the academic needs of the Wellesley community. The records I create make Wellesley collections discoverable to scholars around the world.

I love history, especially the Medieval, Renaissance and early American periods. My undergraduate degree is in history with a MedievalRenaissance focus. My other interests include traveling, baking, visiting museums and historic houses, watching murder mysteries and crime procedural dramas, and reading most anything. I am currently reading Donna Leon’s Commissario Brunetti mystery series set in Venice.
