LTS - Library Collections

Marci Hahn-Fabris
Assistant Director for Discovery Services

I work closely with colleagues from across the library and the campus to help manage their digitized collections and to make our unique holdings visible.  I oversee the digitization of materials from Archives and Special Collections, and also assist in the metadata creation for these materials. I collaborate with the Wellesley Magazine and the Communications and Public Affairs Office to help manage their born-digital images and metadata, in order to make those accessible.  Additionally, I assist the Art Dept. with images for courses. I facilitate for the Digital Collections working group, where we investigate digital preservation and other issues surrounding the management of our digital collections.

I have been with the College since 2006, and transferred to LTS in 2015, after almost 10 years as the Visual Resources Curator in the Art Department.  I have a BA in Art History from UMass Dartmouth, and my MLS from Simmons University.
