Digital Collections

Many of the unique holdings of the Wellesley College Library are available in digital format.

The Wellesley College Digital Scholarship and Archive : Wellesley College's institutional repository and archive collects, manages, and facilitates access to the College's scholarly output, unique research holdings, and archival records.  The digital repository includes manuscripts and other materials from the Wellesley College Library's Special Collections

Wellesley College Archives Image Gallery : a collection of over 2000 historic images of the College.

The Internet Archive : Since 2008, Wellesley College has been contributing content to the Internet Archive project in collaboration with the Boston Library Consortium.  To date, Wellesley has contributed over 2800 out-of-copyright books, music scores, College Archival materials, and other items to this project, whose mission is to provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public. 

The Browning Courtship Correspondence : In February 2012, Wellesley College and Baylor University collaborated to digitize and display the 573 courtship letters between Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning. Wellesley College's holdings from Special Collections have joined Baylor University's Armstrong Browning Library holdings to create a unique and valuable digital resource for Browning students and scholars worldwide.
