Workshops for the Spring 2016 semester
are being planned and will be posted soon.
Please check back.

New Spring '16 Workshops:

In the Clapp Computing Classroom

Design Your Own Business Card Workshop: Wednesday, February 3rd - 7:00-8:00pm

Learn how to create and design your own personalized business card that helps you gain an advantage in the professional world! You will learn how to use Adobe inDesign for designing your business card, and sites like Vistaprint and Staples to print them and make them into a reality.

Zotero: Wednesday, Feb 17th - 3:00-4:00

Zotero can save you time and headaches by maintaining a library of all of your sources, file your pdf's, and then doing all the hard work for you when writing your papers by formatting all of your in-text citations and a complete reference section for you.  If you're a beginner or already using Zotero and just have a few questions, stop in and our experts can help!  Can't pick between EndNote and Zotero, EndNote has a few more options, especially if you are using a lot of journal articles, but Zotero handles online sources and shares between users better.

Each semester LTS offers a series of workshops for
the Wellesley College community.
  • Check this calendar throughout the semester as more workshops may be added to the schedule. Please note: These workshops are open to the Wellesley College community only.
  • Please feel free to suggest other technology workshop topics which may interest you as you are filling out a registration form. Topics do not have to be related to academic projects.
  • All workshops will be held in the Clapp Library computing classroom or the Knapp Center, on the first floor. If a location change is needed, it will be clearly stated in your confirmation email.

Important: Use of the 3-D printer requires a mandatory 30 minute 3-D Printer Orientation session.
