Pull-down Assay to Detect Protein-Protein Interactions

Pull-down assay to detect physical associations between estrogen receptors (ER) and steroid receptor coactivator-1 (SRC-1) from brain (hypothalamic and hippocampal/cortical) extracts. Recombinant ER fused to a FLAG tag is immobilized to anti-FLAG resin and “pulls down” SRC-1 from rat brain tissue.
