On October 3, students, faculty, and staff gathered in the Lulu Chow Wang Campus Center’s Anderson Forum for the third annual Coffee with a Cop Day, hosted by the Wellesley College Police Department. Guests enjoyed coffee, tea, and treats while chatting with and getting to know the Campus Police team.

Coffee with a Cop Day, a national event, began in 2011 with the police department in Hawthorne, Calif., whose goal was to foster more positive relationships with their community. It has since spread across the country, and even the world, providing a way for law enforcement officers to engage with those they serve in a fun and casual setting.
