Graduating seniors in the class of 2019 lined up on Tupelo Lane on Saturday, April 13, to compete in this year’s Hooprolling contest, one of Wellesley’s oldest traditions. Every spring, seniors dress up in their robes and class color and race down the hill while rolling their wooden hoops. The winner is thrown ceremoniously into Lake Waban. Wellesley congratulates this year’s winner, Paige Hauke of the yellow class of 2019!
