FLAME University

Spend a semester or year on our exchange with FLAME University, a private university in Pune, India. FLAME is the pioneer of Liberal Education in India, offering a wide variety of humanities and social science courses in English. FLAME is a residential college with plenty of opportunities to get involved in clubs and student activities. While at FLAME, students will participate in FLAME's Discover India Program, whereby students work in cross-disciplinary groups to develop a research project focused on Indian culture in a different region of India and then travel as a group for a 10-day field trip to conduct the research. Summer internships available in conjunction with a fall or spring semester abroad.

Cost: Students are responsible for paying tuition to Wellesley. Students pay room & board directly to FLAME. Books are provided by FLAME. Financial aid will be recalculated based on anticipated living expenses abroad and will also account for airfare costs.
Pre-Requisites: 2.7 GPA. 2 semesters Hindi recommended.

Application Deadlines: Students planning on studying abroad during the 2023-24 Academic Year must submit a Proposal to Study Away prior to Dec 1 2022.
