Zixia (Linda) Liu

Former Paulson Initiative Intern

Hi! My name is Linda (Zixia) Liu '19, and I majored in English. I'm passionate about literature and creative writing and love nature. I feel lucky to study at Wellesley not just because of its excellent education - I'm fond of its landscape and its wild and breathtaking beauty. The jagged skyline, disrupted by treetops at the Academic Quad, the small gem of the Paramecium Pond hidden down the Munger ramp's graceful slope, and all the sunsets by the lake - these are some of my most treasured Wellesley memories. With the Paulson Initiative, I combine my literary interests and hosted a series of Literary Walks in the fall semester. Everyone could participate, and we would read poems and walk around the campus together on Friday mornings. I also collaborated with the Italian Department to host a Davis "walk" on Italian landscape poetry and arts. I'm excited to continue my work at the Paulson Initiative and help more students enjoy the Wellesley landscape!
