Chansie Yang

My name is Chansie Yang and part of the Class of 2022. I am interested in pursuing both an Environmental Studies and Biological Sciences major. This summer, I studied the Paramecium Pond system and Lake Waban with a focus on water chemistry along with Timia Kennerly (’22). Given the significant difference in temperature between groundwater and other alternative water sources for Paramecium Pond, our group set out to determine whether temperature change will affect the rates of a few environmental processes that play a role in the system’s wellbeing.
