Ann-Marsha Alexis

Paulson Place Challenge Student Researcher

My name is Ann-Marsha Alexis. I live in Orange, New Jersey but I am originally from Haiti. My major is Physics with a minor in Philosophy. I am also particularly interested in the environmental sciences, environmental justice and the intersection between science and technology. At Wellesley, I am on eboard for Wellesley for Caribbean Development and Yanvalou Drum and Dance Ensemble, where I discovered my love of drumming and music. Currently, I am learning to play the organ at Wellesley. Other topics I'm really interested in are cultural anthropology, literature, and speculative science fiction and horror. One hobby of mine is baking because I love cake a lot. I also enjoy watching TV and movies from around the world, and learning languages, partly so that I could understand those TV shows and movies.
