Paulson-Frost Internship

Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant in the field holding a baby black bear

The Paulson-Frost Practitioner Fellow Internship is a partnership between the Frost Center for the Environment and the Paulson Initiative. This internship offers students an opportunity to engage in local, regional, and global issues with an expert in the field.

We are very excited to announce that Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant will be the inagural Paulson-Frost Practitioner Fellow for 2020-21. Dr. Wynn-Grant is a conservation scientist, large carnivore ecologist, nature storyteller, and advocate.

During the summer 2020 Dr. Wynn-Grant mentored two Wellesley students on projects researching indigenous animal names around the globe for children and adult educational materials and developing a literature review on grizzly bear diet to inform bear management. Dr. Wynn-Grant is mentoring four Paulson-Frost interns during the winter and spring 2020.
