Neha Lund

Major: Sociology Minor: South Asia Studies

Neha’s current research focuses on the racial and ethnic identities of technology workers of South Asian descent in Silicon Valley. She is interested in how Silicon Valley technology corporations reinforce the model minority myth, and how this reproduction impacts the broader racial positionality of South Asians in the United States. Generally, she is interested in race, gender, class, and migration in a postcolonial, feminist context with a particular focus on South Asia. As an Afghan American, she is especially passionate about diversifying narratives focused on the South Asian experience.
