Sarah Robbins-Cole

College Chaplain and Christian Life Coordinator
I’m Sarah Robbins-Cole, one of the College Chaplains and the Christian Life Coordinator. This is my ninth year at Wellesley College. Like our students, I love to learn. My college career started at the University of Vermont where I studied Classics and Political Science. After that I went to seminary at Oxford University in England and received my M.A. in Theology. Then I continued my education with a second Masters at King’s College London with a degree in Biblical Studies focusing on the New Testament. I am currently a Doctoral Student at Virginia Theological Seminary. The focus of my thesis is “Happiness” and Christian Spiritual Practices.

I work both at Wellesley College and at St. Andrew’s, our local Episcopal Church here in Wellesley. At Wellesley College, I coordinate our many Christian Student Orgs on campus, organize our worship services on Sunday afternoon, and host a Christian Life Dinner each Sunday evening during term time. I also provide programming such as Bible Study, Retreats, and other get-togethers during the term. At St. Andrew’s, I am the Associate Rector for Youth and Family. I am an ordained priest in the Episcopal Church.

When I am not on campus or at the church, I enjoy being at my cottage in Maine, keeping fit, reading and spending time with my family.

If you are interested in becoming involved with the Christian Life community or are even curious about exploring the Christian Faith, please email me to arrange to meet me.
