Wintersession 2024 Registration
Eligibility for On-Campus Winter Course Registration:
Degree-seeking students enrolled on campus in Fall 2023 are eligible to register for Winter 2024 on campus courses. Students on leave of absence or studying abroad in Fall 2023 are not eligible to enroll in Wintersession courses.
Course offerings are now available in Workday and on the Course Browser.
Registration Dates
- Monday, November 13, 2023 at 8:00 AM - Registration for Wintersession on campus courses begins in Workday. All courses will be held in the classroom in person.
- Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 11:59 PM - Deadline to register for students who need on-campus housing. After this date, courses with low demand may be canceled. Students who register after this date are not eligible for on-campus housing.
- Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:59 PM - Deadline to register for a Wintersession course.
MIT IAP courses are not available for cross-registration.

Wintersession 2024 Housing
Housing Eligibility: Information about Winter housing eligibility and related details are available. Winter Housing Registration must be completed prior to 11:59 pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
Billing: There is no tuition charge for students taking an on-campus course during Wintersession. The costs associated with on campus housing and dining are detailed on the Winter housing website.
