  • Allison Weinberg, LMHC Director of Student Wellness

    Allison Weinberg, Director of Student Wellness, received her BA in Sociology and Gender Studies from New College of Florida and MA in Behavioral Medicine and Mental Health Counseling from Boston University School of Medicine.

    Prior to joining Wellesley, Allie worked in college counseling, health education, community mental health, substance use, and LGBTQ advocacy. Working from an empowerment model, Allie is passionate about intersectionality and holistic approaches to wellness and is thrilled to have joined the Wellesley community in January 2020.

    Allie enjoys attending concerts, spending time outdoors, taking art classes, and going on adventures around Boston with her dog and spouse.

  • Nancy Baden, RN Outreach Nurse Educator

    Nancy Baden, Outreach Nurse Educator, is a graduate of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital School of Nursing. She has over 20 years of experience, focused mainly in Community Health Nursing with a strong passion for Health Education.

    Prior to joining Wellesley, she spent 5 years providing a variety of Wellness Seminars, Biometric screenings, Health Fairs and individualized Health Coaching for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts & Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. She strives to educate others on the importance of Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep, Stress Management and Spiritual Wellbeing as the foundation of good health.

    In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, eco-adventure travel, live music and singing and playing percussion with an original band.

  • Barbara Southcote, RD Nutrition Coach

    Barbara Southcote, Nutrition Coach, is a Registered-Dietitian Nutritionist with a MSc in Nutrition and Health Promotion, and Certificate in Sports Nutrition, from Simmons College.

    Barbara has been with the College since January 2016 as part of the Health Services team. Using an evidence based approach, she teaches students the value and skill of flexible eating. Barbara celebrates body diversity and talks about health and well-being through the lens of each student’s experiences. Her goal is for all students to feel empowered on their unique journey of greater well-being.

    During the winter months, when she is not on campus, Barbara can be found at the rink, either playing or coaching ice hockey, or at her home office where she works virtually providing Nutrition Coaching services. Summer days are spent enjoying time with family and friends on Lake Rosseau.

    Talia Seavey Graduate Fellow

    Talia Seavey is a graduate fellow pursuing a Master of Science degree in Community Health Education at Merrimack College. She completed her undergraduate work at UMASS Amherst in Communications and Sociology. She is a registered yoga teacher and is passionate about holistic wellness. Her areas of interest include stress management/mental health, nutrition and the connection between our mental and physical wellbeing.
