Celebrating 100 Years

Celebating 100 Years

2016 marked the 100th Anniversary of the incorporation of the Wellesley Students’ Aid Society (WSAS) as an independent organization dedicated to giving Wellesley College students the financial freedom to succeed in school and beyond.

Over the years, WSAS has supported tens of thousands of students with everything from tuition aid to emergency travel funds to warm coats for the winter. It’s all made possible by our generous alumnae and friends, who have paved the way for a century of women to acquire a great Wellesley education.

100 Years of Women Helping Women

“The Students’ Aid gift came to me when I most needed it, and gave me the thing I wanted most. A new dress eventually wears out, but the education is mine to keep as long as I live.”

“WSAS has made all the difference in my preparedness for Wellesley academia…. It’s heartwarming and reassuring to know that Wellesley alumnae and friends are so dedicated to the success of the current generation!”
