Many employers will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. Please consult your employer directly to see if they offer a matching gift program.
Please follow the steps below to gift stock to the Wellesley Students’ Aid Society:
- Send your broker or banker a letter of authorization stating your wish to transfer securities to Wellesley Students’ Aid Society. Specify your account number, the type and number of shares being transferred, whether your gift is unrestricted or for a specific purpose, and the date by which the gift should be transferred. In order to transfer securities, your broker will need the following information:

- Send a copy of the letter to Catherine Kefalas, Wellesley Students’ Aid Society, 106 Central Street, Wellesley, MA 02481, or have the individual performing the transfer email a copy to email@example.com, or call Ms. Kefalas at 781.283.2296. You may also fax a copy of the letter to us at 781.283.2293.
A bequest is gift made at death through your will or trust. If you have a will, or plan to create one, consider including a bequest for Wellesley Students’ Aid Society. A bequest can be made for a specific dollar amount, or for a percentage, a fraction, or the balance of your residuary estate.
