The Camellia Student Leadership Awards

An annual slate of awards celebrating leadership that might not always look like leadership. As our associate dean of students says: It’s not about adding a line to your résumé. It’s about “honoring the ways in which challenges were overcome, dialogues were fostered, partnerships were created, understanding was developed, and goals were accomplished.” The emphasis here isn’t on individual heroics; it’s on collaborative achievement. Named in honor of a resilient tree given to Wellesley by its founders.
