Eashaa Jampala
Eashaa is a senior majoring in Sociology and minoring in Economics.

She is currently writing her thesis on mental health conversations among South Asian American college students. In the summer of 2020, she studied South Asian social networks in America and participated in the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship’s Summer Research Training Program at the University of Chicago. She spent the spring semester of her junior year in Copenhagen studying urban life and the role of cities in creating cultural identity. On campus, Eashaa works as an Academic Success Coach Coordinator with the Pforzheimer Learning and Teaching Center and is involved with the Wellesley Association for South Asian Cultures and Pomeroy Hall’s House Council community. She has a working knowledge of Telugu. After graduation, Eashaa hopes to work in areas of community development, social network building, and urban planning to center the voices of youth in shaping the future of cities.
