EALC (East Asian Languages & Cultures)/’ē-‘ā-‘el-‘sē/ noun 1: a division of Wellesley College united by the desire to explore the languages and cultures of China, Japan and Korea. 2: community of students interested in the same. 3: a physical space on the second and third floors of Green Hall.
