Wellesley Snow Inspires Winter Games

As the world pauses to tune in to the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, here's a photo of a snowy Wellesley Winter Carnival in February 1924. Evelyn Poat, class of 1925, rides a donkey that pulls her fellow classmates on skis—not quite cross-country skiing, but we’ll leave that to the experts in Pyeongchang.
