Amelia Deshmukh
Amelia is a junior majoring in Architecture with a minor in Anthropology.

From August 2021 to July 2023, Amelia worked as a volunteer at the Baha’i World Centre in Haifa, Israel. Her first year was spent in cleaning and maintenance of the 19 terraces of the Baha’i Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Her second year was spent working with a team to secure visas for a number of volunteer staff and religious pilgrims coming on a monthly basis. On campus, Amelia is a member of Yanvalou Drum and Dance Ensemble as well as Tau Zeta Epsilon. She is conversational in Spanish and Mandarin, having lived in China and now in Puerto Rico. Amelia hopes to secure an internship at an architecture firm or to take part in an architecture-related program in the summer after her junior year.
