Amelia Forman ’21

Amelia Forman
Amelia is a junior majoring in Economics and Spanish.

She is also the Fall Policy and Communications Intern at the Abdul Latif Jameel poverty action lab (J-PAL Global), where she provides support to the Post-primary Education and Innovation in Government initiatives as well as a range of other sectors. In the summer of 2019, she interned for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in their Costa Rica office working with the Sustainable Fishing, Small Grants Program, and communications teams. She is now working on an independent study video project presenting the oral histories of women she interviewed in Mexico and Costa Rica. On-campus she is the student assistant in the Political Science Department, co-lecture chair for the Economic Student Association and vice president of Hillel. Amelia looks forward to returning to Costa Rica with the UNDP Small Grants Program next summer. Her goal upon graduation is to work in development with a focus in Latin America.
