Catherine is a junior majoring in English with an interest in global health

She is also on the pre-medical track. Catherine spent the summers of 2017 and 2018 working as an intern with Proteostasis Therapeutics Inc. in Boston, where she supported their drug development efforts in the Biology department for a variety of diseases including Cystic Fibrosis. During the school year, Catherine spends her time volunteering at The Perkins School for the Blind assisting occupational therapists with their students, shadowing a variety of physicians, as well as managing multiple organisations. She is currently President of the Alpha Kappa Chi Society, Co-President of Wellesley’s Global Medical Brigade’s chapter, and a leader in Citylife Church’s Wellesley community group. Catherine’s goal upon graduation is to work with an international organisation in the field of global health. She also intends on pursuing a degree in medicine.
