She is currently working on her thesis on the relationship between irritability and executive functioning. Over the summer of 2023, Etta interned at STEMax in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam through the Luce in Asia Scholarship, where she held science workshops for elementary and high schoolers. Etta spent the fall of her junior year abroad in Bhutan, where she assistant taught in a 4th grade science classroom. Following graduation, Etta plans to pursue a graduate degree in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Education.
