Hazel Wan Hei Leung
Hazel Wan Hei is a junior majoring in History and Political Science, with an interest in the Chinese diaspora in North America, student politics and protest movements, and Hong Kong in the post-Umbrella Movement era.

She spent the summer of 2018 working with low income Asian American communities in the Boston area with the Asian Outreach Unit of Greater Boston Legal Services, running legal intake in both Cantonese and Mandarin, as well as supporting clients in immigration detention. On campus, she serves as the Multicultural Affairs Coordinator on College Government Cabinet, is part of the Community Organizing Resource Network, works at Punch’s Alley, and helps people out at the Computing Help Desk. Hazel Wan Hei grew up in Hong Kong and spent two years at UWC Atlantic College in South Wales. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, and is learning Russian. Hazel Wan Hei is particularly interested in exploring careers in immigration advocacy for Asian American communities and Hong Kong-PRC relations and hopes to attend either law school or graduate school upon graduation.
