Joni Lee
Joni is a senior double majoring in Political Science and Sociology.

In the summer of 2022, Joni supported a global coalition of grassroots organizers to stop the Olympic Games in Paris and Los Angeles. She conducted firsthand research, observing future Olympic sites, interviewing displaced residents, and collaborating with tenants’ associations and tenants’ unions on their local organizing efforts. On campus, Joni is very active in student life and government. She is an Admissions Student Coordinator, a member of Tau Zeta Epsilon, the elected Community Organizing and Inclusion Liaison, and a representative on the Presidential Commission on Ethnicity, Race, and Equity. She is an Anchor Point Fellow and an Asian Americans Advancing Justice (Asian Law Caucus) Youth Leadership Summit Alumna. Upon graduation, Joni seeks to work with an international human rights organization that ensures safe, sustainable urban housing for all. In the future, she hopes to obtain an advanced degree in law and international affairs.
