Her area of interest is in cybersecurity and cyber policy. She has taken several advanced classes in computer security and tech policy at both Wellesley and MIT, and is excited to further explore global policy through the Albright Institute. She has previously interned at Facebook and Amazon as a software engineer, and works during the school year as a student researcher in computer systems and a CS department tutor. On-campus, Lauren is also very active in the music community, both as a french horn player and a member of the MIT-Wellesley Toons. Upon graduation, Lauren will be working at Facebook in NYC and looks forward to pursuing graduate work in both computer science and policy.
