Malika Top
Malika is a junior majoring in Data Science with a concentration in Biological Sciences.

In the summer of 2022, Malika worked as an undergraduate student researcher in Dr. Steven Biller’s lab studying genomes of marine microbes using bioinformatic approaches. Prior to this experience, she has also worked in Wellesley’s Human Computer Interaction lab to help redesign a chatbot used to assist remote worker wellbeing and productivity. On campus, Malika works in the Science Center managing the stockroom, is a resident assistant, and serves on the Schneider Board of Governors. She is a native Khmer speaker and fluent in Spanish. Malika hopes to find an internship in either the biotechnology or data science field.
