Misia Lerska
Misia is a senior from Poland, France and California majoring in Cinema and Media Studies and Peace and Justice Studies.

Her thesis will consist of a documentary following the campaign trail in the 2020 election. Most recently, she co-produced a travel documentary about political engagement in Poland. She is now living in New York City, interning for Killer Films, a film company that specializes in uplifting disempowered communities through cinema. She is also assisting Janine di Giovanni, a renown war reporter, in writing a journalistic novel about Christian exodus from Israel, Palestine and Iraq. On campus, Misia works in the Art Cage helping to manage the videography and photography equipment and is the co-president of Amnesty International. Misia’s immediate goal upon graduation is to work in media—telling important stories through screens.
